Zeinab Musavi

Zeinab Musavi will be the first lecturer of the Silent University in Upstate New York, in collaboration with CCS Bard and in dialog with the Center for Human Rights and the Arts at Bard College.

"My name is Zeinab Musavi; I have studied clinical psychology (MSC) in Iran and have established the Behrawan Organization with my husband to empower women and girls on trauma healing and autism in Afghanistan. On May 8, 2021, a terrorist attack occurred in the Sayed-al Shuhada girl school. I formed a crisis intervention psychology team to help students. I led about 53 psychologists who all worked voluntarily with the injured girls for 100 days. During this time, we responded to more than 3,000 people under the Psychological Intervention Program, including girls, mothers, and teachers. This has been my most valuable work in psychology.”
